Hi Wayne, thanks for your suggestion. As I have vitamin A on hand I've given myself a good dose along with ascorbic acid so we'll see what happens in the next 24 hours.

You may know this already.

Vitamin A effects the quality and quantity of mucous.
Once I had a corn cob throat for a few weeks and remembered this.
First read it in the 50's or early 60's.

I took 70,000 units of Vitamin A and went to sleep. Woke up 1.5 hours later and it was the first time my throat had felt slick in 4 or 5 weeks. Awesome.

If you are not taking a good quantity of Vitamin A, you could try increasing it a bit.

Lots of people have upper respiratory problems now. Some of the healthy ones I know even have it.
