Hi Teresa, I use equate saline nasal spray bottle. I mix 1/4 of teaspoon of sea salt and 1/4 of baking soda in a yellow cup that came from the hospital it measures 200 metric on the measuring cup. I use this mixture in a small blue ear syringe that i got from China-mart. Tilt your head sideways an gently spray it in your nostril. I use this mixture in equate saline nasal spray bottle. Which I take with me when I go out of the house. I also use hydrogen peroxide in my ears. I have low white blood platelets which means a suppressed immune system. If I go in the store and I breath some foreign matter into my lungs it creates an irritant in my lungs and thus mucus forms.
