My container of Calcium Ascorbate reads as; "Each gram contains 1000 mg of Calcium Ascorbate equivalent to 820 mg of Vitamin C [Ascorbic Acid] 1/4 teaspoon provides approximately 1090 mg of Calcium Ascorbate or 890 mg of Vitamin C[Ascorbic Acid]. Vitamin C is a factor in the normal development and maintenance of bones,cartilage,teeth and gums."
