Of course!
The anode is the one that looses (minimally, buttit does!)
I saved my first wires, worn out because I forgot to take
them out by times, yet they were in use for a long time
during my years in Colombia. I have them, as a relic,
on a little piece of paper.
I bought 4 new wires, and now that I forget no more, they
will last a mighty long time ..
Still working as when I started out, not with sophisticated
measuring machines and things, but in pure water, and the
source from the wall, the way Marshelee Hallet taught me,
many many years ago.
Faith St. Francis,
Still boiling after all these years!

Hiya Anthony, I switch mine after each batch… and I’m STILL usin the original
ones I received with my Pup several years ago… so I’d say definitely yes!
