There's no denying that a healthy sense of skepticism and being as fully informed as possible are critical tools in making self-help decisions, but unless you're going to personally do the lab work on every supplement and health issue you still end up relying to a significant degree on the findings of those whose viewpoints and expertise you trust. I've never known anyone who developed their health care regimen completely independent of anyone else's knowledge and input. Looks like I've got a bright future then doesn't it...sickness and death, oh well, never mind, considering that's inevitable at some time at least I did it my way and by my own hand <g>. N. Selenium is crucial to antioxidant status and glutathione formation, and when glutathione is low one always sees disease. The USDA says North American adults would benefit by 150 mcg daily, and when we're sick or in the presence of heavy metals including arsenic or silver we usually need more because of the depletion they cause. SO, if some members of the silver group are not taking selenium, they should be. all good, Duncan Crow One of Curezone.com's Best Health Sites :) http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow From: Neville Munn <one.red...@hotmail.com> To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Mon, March 12, 2012 10:19:28 PM Subject: RE: CS>introduction and request for help Oops, I'd better stick my hand up here and add to that in case taking Selenium is considered critical and/or a prerequisite with silver intake...I don't, and never have, taken Selenium in conjunction with silver, and my fingernails haven't fallen off yet, neither have I, my fingernail moons, or my eyeballs turned any colour of the rainbow. Not having a go or anything you understand, just thought I should add that little correction cos not 'all' of us here take Selenium. I'll spare everyone though and refrain from airing my opinion on Selenium being co-joined with silver intake <g>. N. -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
