I've read of non-healing decubiti being healed with sterile dressings soaked in 
a high sugar simple syrup.  Sugar was used for hundreds of years to cure meat 
so it made sense. It was actually done in a hospital when all else failed... 
and it worked.PT

Tried that tho, even the manuka honey but.. they might work for some folks.
Honey and even sugar have been used since ancient times for wound 
dressings.  I thought the honey might be messy but, amazingly, it seems
the body soaks it right up.
