I mostly brush my teeth with diluted Atomidine, from Heritage. That's iodine trichloride, 600 mcg per drop, and it's clear (completely colorless). I make a batch using 40-50 drops per quart of water, that lasts about 25 days... My dentist wondered why my gums had stopped bleeding (10 years ago) and I told her I brushed with iodine. She said that was a good idea because iodine removes 'biofilms' (she said that's why doctors wash with iodine for surgery preparation), and she said I should keep using it.
