Hello Dann, Brian, While trying to update systemimager rpm's from 3.1.4 to 3.1.5 I kept going in circles avoiding dependencies. I could not find a clean way to update the rpms. Is there such a way to update SI rpm's cleanly? And if so, can that be documented?
Using RedHat 7.3 with 2.4.20.x kernel. System: DL360 g3 I used rpm -Uvh rpmNAME I then, deleted/erase the rpm's from my imageserver avoiding dependency errors, successfully, but when you delete the systemimager rpm's, it also deletes the soft link for init.d in /etc /etc/init.d which should be pointing to /etc/rc.d/init.d, which after deleting SI rpms is gone. Can this be fixed?
