Category: systemimager-client Group: v3.2.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: rsync: failed to connect to 196... Network is unreachable Initial Comment: I am trying to set up oscar 2.3.1 on a RH9.0 box to serve an similar amd pc. The installation appears to complete without too much trouble. When I start up the client, it sees the server and takes in the DHCP assigned IP address. But half way through, it fails when tries to rsync -av 196.168.0.0::boot/i386/standard/boel_binaries.tar.gz /tmp/beol_binaries with the error: rsync: failed to connect to 196.168.0.0: Network unreachable. It then aborts and shows a # prompt. But from the #sh, I can ping 196.168.0.0. The /tmp/beol_binaries directory is present too. Also, from the server (196.168.0.0), I can find the rsync daemon, and can successfully repeat this command to copy this file locally. Any idea what is happening? PS.
