Category: Boot Loaders Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Erik Jacobson (erikj1) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: xfs filesystem on SuSE not supported Initial Comment: It probably doesn't work for any OS that uses this code path. If you run systemconfigurator on a SuSE8 ia64 system that uses xfs for it's root filesystem, the resulting /etc/sysconfig/kernel has an INITRD_MODULES list that does not contain the xfs filesystem any more. This is because modules/Root.pm does not know about xfs. This was observed in 2.0.8-1. Attached is a patch for this problem applied to what was found in the CVS browser. The fix works for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=380273&aid=845398&group_id=24006 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
