I reported the same problem. This error can be fixed enabling the
CONFIG_SYSCTL in the kernel (just checked in the trunk).
Anyway I found other troubles regarding the compilation of udev stuff in
my enviroment (a suse10). In particular I get the following errors:
/bin/sh: dh_clean: command not found
make[1]: *** [clean] Error 127
...
/bin/sh: dh_testdir: command not found
make[1]: *** [debian/stampdir/build] Error 127
...
rsync: link_stat
"/home/righiandr/systemimager-devel/trunk/initrd_source/src/udev-0.060.orig/debian/udev/."
failed: No such file or directory (2)
building file list ... done
rsync error: some files could not be transferred (code 23) at main.c(791)
So it seems I've no file in the target udev directory... Probably this
is because I'm not using a debian distro, even if I love debian :-), but
with this approach we add the constraint that systemimager can be
compiled only under this distro...
I'll check if there's a simple workaround to fix that...
Cheers,
-Andrea
