All,

3.7.3 is a development release. All big fixes should be committed directly to
trunk.

We can cut as many development releases as we need, prior to the resultant
stable release.

Everyone please have a look at the TODO list. If anyone needs to add something
to it, do it now. We should decide soon on which items will make it into 3.8.0
and which will not. After that, we'll declare a feature freeze, and will only
work on the named features and on big fixes. At the point of the freeze, I'll
tag a 3.8.x branch.

Cheers,

-Brian

Hi Andrea:

If I'm not mistaken I believe Brian already tagged 3.7.3... I'm not sure when
Brian plans to release though - anyway it's up to you, it's not a huge deal
right now with it staying green, but it would be more obvious if it's another
color.

Talking about release and tag, we should probably create a 3.7.x branch so that
we can check in bug fixes...

Thanks,

Bernard

P.S. About colors, how about orange? It seems that all the good colors are
taken ;-)

Hi Bernard,

well.. we could implement a netcat-like tool in perl to be deployed in
the target client, but I think it's simpler to install the standard
netcat in the image... ;-)

Moreover having a different color for the rebooted state makes sense, do
you want it in 3.7.3? or it's better to wait the cut of 3.7.3 from Brian
and add it in the new release?

Cheers,
-Andrea

PS preferred color for the rebooted state? :-)
