Ok, I tried to load the image and it looks like it blew up in the same
way. The last few things I see on the screen are (btw is there any way
to easily automate the collection of the output?: I could run the
script manually and redirect the output to a file but then how do I get
if off the client?):

run_autoinstall_script
I will now run the autoinstall script...
get_arch
logmsg: No such file or directory [repeated 12 time]
Error: Could not stat device /dev/cciss/disc0/disk - No such file
I believe this is from the first execution of 'parted', so where did
the logmsg errors come from? Are they trying to log
messages to device that doesn't exist?
logmsg: No such file or directory
dd: No such file or directory

As I said earlier, if there are any files I can send along, just let me
know...
-mark
