No, you can try building your kernel with patches from within the SI-build
environment.  Pre-patch your kernel, re-tar it, then try making the kernel
with the SI build tools.  You will need to configure your kernel with all
devices as built in and NOT modules.  If you do this it should work.  (Note
that you will need to patch i1000/e1000 and SATA into the kernel).

Alternatively, you can wait for me to get back from vacation a few days after
new years.  I was planning on releasing an update anyway.
