Hi I am currently experimenting with systemimaging and various Linux distros and run into the following problem:
I have a redhat9 standard installation on a box and try to run updateclient to deploy a Debian testing image on that box. At some point the rsync chokes and throws up a message: rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(150) It also complains somewhere that the disk would be full. The bizarr thing is, that I am trying to install onto a 35GB partition while the image is only ~1.2GB When I run df -h on the box, it says that the disk is to 101% full. A e2fsck finds a host of orphaned inodes, so I guess that is where there is something wrong. I was able to reproduce this error on a frequent basis. After that error the box is left in such an unstable state that I can't even soft-reboot it. Anyone got any idea what is wrong? Any hints how I can debug that error and how I can get a more verbose log than the one-liner in /var/log/systemimager/rsync ?
