Title: Re: [Oscar-users] Problem about install slave nodes with SCSI hard disk?
Peter,

Any chance you can update your SystemImager kernel to support the Adaptec 39320(B) adapter?  This does not seem to be supported by the stock 2.4.25 kernel.

Thanks in advance,

Bernard

Hi Bernard:

As you said, the computer nodes are booted by SystemImager
kernel(boel2.4.25). I have downloaded the linux-2.4.25.tar.gz from
kernel.org and read the README.aic79xx in it. The Adaptec SCSI card
39320(b) is not included in the supported hardware. This may explain
why the aic79xx.o in SystemImager kernel couldn't setup my scsi card.

How can I resolve this problem? (recompile the 2.4.25kernel with the
newer scsi drivers source code, then replace the old aic79xx.o with
the new one, is it feasible? Anyway, I will try it.)
Or, where can I get the prototype tool?
