Hello list. I'm new to systemimager. Please let me know if questions on
3.5.3 are more appropriate to another list.

I've compiled SIsuite 3.5.3 as rpms:

systemimager-client-3.5.3-1.noarch.rpm
systemimager-common-3.5.3-1.noarch.rpm
systemimager-flamethrower-3.5.3-1.noarch.rpm
systemimager-i386boot-standard-3.5.3-1.noarch.rpm
systemimager-server-3.5.3-1.noarch.rpm

My first question: which of the above need to be installed on the client?
More specifially, I found running si_prepareclient on my GC errors
unless I install systemimager-i386boot-standard (which wants
systemimager-server as well). The error is from UseYourOwnKernel.pm:58
while executing the command:

$cmd = qq(rsync -a /usr/share/systemimager/boot/$arch/standard/initrd_template/
$staging_dir/)

This template directory is part of systemimager-i386boot-standard. I am
wondering if this is a error in the code. Shouldn't the above rsync command
be connecting to my image server to access the initrd_template directory?

Did you try poking at it with a stick?
