Hello, I was wondering if anyone has encountered GRUB issues while attempting to image a HP dl145G2 server using SATA drives with Suse SLES9 has the OS.
I think the issue I am seeing is that the SI kernel sees the SATA drives as /dev/sda but the Suse SLES9 kernel sees the same drive as /dev/hde. When a compute node finishes its image process, GRUB gets somewhat confused as to how to set up the bootloader.
If anyone has any suggestions, hints, or fixes, it would be greatly appreciated.
