Yep... I edited the script and just increased the size of the ramdisk. That at least let the script run to completion and start the rsync daemon, etc. One thing to notice though... I ctrl+c'd out of the script several times while debugging, and of course there were all the times where it failed. As a result of one or both of these failure modes, the script did not clean up after itself and had several directories in /tmp mounted as loopback devices... which subsequently made it into the image N times. Just check your mounts before running get_image.
