I applogize in advance if this is a well known thing but I tried searching through the various Wiki pages for Sisuite but was not able to find an answer. Is a lvm based system supported as a golden client? I.E. can clients be built from a system where the main file system is lvm based?
I had someone tell me the reason systemimager and other pieces of Sisuite could not be used in a partiular cluster solution was because there was no support for lvm. I looked for a features page to confirm or deny this statement but I was not able to find one. Don't ask me why someone would actually use lvm filesystems on client compute nodes. I am always of the opinion that simpler is better for compute nodes but it is not my call on this one. -- Steve ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
