This means the systemimager kernel doesn't support your ide card. You can try Peter Mueller's kernel which has additional drivers, or wait for me to wiki how to build your own in (hopefully sooner than later).

 Test Image Server: compaq dc7100
Test client:       compaq nc6120 laptop (I hear the moans, could it be the laptop HDE - IDE driver?)
 Both running fedora 4
