I've solved this question and found a new one. I'm trying to install the client on Red Hat Enterprise 2.1AS, I'm running into a dependency issue, the client requires mtools and mtools requires a higher version of glibc, Red Hat recommends upgrading to Enterprise Server 3 instead of updating glibc, that's not going to happen anytime soon. Any recommendations? should I try an earlier version of SI?
Thanks,
Chris.

Subject: Stand alone client install
Charles and Bernard, thank you both for your reply's on the "Could not stat device /dev/had" error, I am using SI version 3.4.1.
Which RPM packages would I use to install the client software, without using the install program? "Client" RPM Obviously, but would I also need to install some other package such as the "common" and/or "standard" package(s)?
Thank again,
Chris Harris
