I'm using SI 3.4.1 (stable release) to deploy RHEL4 on the nodes of my cluster.

After the autoinstall (from CD) completes I’m told to reboot.

But it fails. It looks like the MBR is not cloned on the new node.

Of course if I boot the cloned client with ‘linux rescue CD’, I’m able to install a MBR, an then the host boots perfectly OK with the exact image I was expecting.

It is however not a suitable solution for a large cluster configuration.

I have seen some similar problems discussed in the list, however with no solution. Can anybody help?

Thanks in advance.

Alex.
