Hi Andrea,

I have recived the same mail than you from erich froch on devel oscar mail list. He had said than I've to add the tag from /dev/hda on /var/lib/systemimager/images/*/etc/systemimager/ autoinstallscript.conf . Once I've done that, I have to rerun the si_mkautoinstallscript for update the /var/lib/systemimager/script/ <imagename>.master . Once time it's done I have to edit these last <imagename>.master and delete the parted command on /dev/hda for don't touch these drive.

Doing this, I've made a mistake and I have not deleted all the parted commands on <imagename>.master referring to /dev/hda and in a reinstallation of the node, the installation produces an error and the machine was bloqued. Now I don't have physical access on the computers, and I can't reboot these machine for doing more tests.

It seems that thing will run so well. On monday I will have access on the machines and I will test these thing. I will inform to us of my progress.

There are the files modified that I will try on monday: (There aren't the files before the changes)

Attachment: autoinstallscript.conf
Description: Binary data

Attachment: oscarimage2.master
Description: Binary data

Thank you so much,
Adrià

Can you post your autoinstallscript.conf and the .master script? the
first one can be found in
/var/lib/systemimager/images/<your-image>/etc/systemimager/ autoinstallscript.conf, the .master script is in /var/lib/systemimager/scripts/<your- image>.master

I've deleted the --autodetect-disks flag on
/opt/oscar/src/cli/build_oscar_image_cli when calls si_mkautoinstallscrip.

I've rebuild the image, and the node and that installs another time to hda.

What can I do ?

Thanks,
Adrià

Which version of systemimager (or which version of OSCAR) are you using?

If I remember well OSCAR uses by default the option --autodetect- disks when runs si_mkautoinstallscript. In this way the disks to be used are always detected at runtime. If you don't use that option the disks used are the same you've defined in your autoinstallscript.conf (or ide.disk
in OSCAR).
