Hello, I’m
attempting to do a usability test on systemimager, and I’m working on
getting a test “gold image” put together with a test “client
node” to install it. I installed systemimager from source on Debian
testing (I didn’t use the debian package because it’s rather out of
date). As per the directions, I ran the following: Prepareclient Getimage Addclients Mkautoinstallcd Then I attempted to boot a new virtual machine with this
.iso file, which it created successfully. When I boot the from this iso, I get the following output (a
tail): RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0 Freeing initrd memory: 15403k freed VFS: Mounted root (cramfs filesystem) readonly. Freeing unused kernel memory: 96k freed Error -3 while decompressing! c02aeb60(-15704032)->de663000(4096) BusyBox v1.1.1 (2006.10.13-07:51+0000) Built-in shell (ash) Enter ‘help’ for a list of built-in commands. /bin/sh: can’t access tty: job control turned off Error –3 while decompressing! c02aab60(-15704032)->dff5b000(4096) kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe –s –k net-pf-1,

errno = 13 Running SystemImager 3.7.4 source tarball from sourceforge. Any help in telling me why this doesn’t connect and/or
install the system will be appreciated. I looked around on the Internet regarding this situation,
but it doesn’t look like anyone’s having this particular one. If I’m
wrong, point me in the right direction, please. Thanks.
