Hey,
I have created a golden client of a xw9400 running redhat 3.8.
I used the following options to prepare the client
si_prepareclient --server my_server --my-modules
On the image server I ran:
si_getimage --golden-client my_client --image my_image --ip-assignment
DHCP
I then created a cd iso using:
si_mkautoinstallcd --arch x86_64 --out-file image.iso
Then I select my_image for the flavor
When I burn this CD and place it into a duplicate xw9400 workstation and
boot it I get an error stating "invalid or corrupt kernel image" at the
boot prompt
When I use the standard flavor I get the following error message:
Parted -s -- /dev/sda mklabel msdos || shellout
Error: could not stat device /dev/sda - no such file or
directory.
I noticed another person having the same issue in the archives but it
didn't seem to get resolved. My server and golden client are running
version 3.7.5. Any ideas on what I can try next?
