Hello! I am experiencing some problems with SystemInstaller. I am reusing an older installation of systemimager 3.4.0 which was used to set up clients in our system 2 years ago, but not by me. Now I want to add a new client to this system.
I try to boot the client by network but end up with an error message, when calling si_mkclientnetboot on the image server. It says: # sbin/si_mkclientnetboot --netboot --clients nameofclient Can't locate SystemImager/Config.pm in @INC (@INC contains: USR_PREFIX/lib/systemimager/perl /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl .) at sbin/si_mkclientnetboot line 25. The file Config.pm is located at lib/SystemImager/Config.pm I think that this is a problem of perl not finding the Config.pm module. So is there a way to solve this problem or should I reinstall SystemInstaller? Actually I am also experiencing another problem with the tftp server when running si_mkbootserver but I am currently trying to fix this problem. I already tried to install SystemInstaller 3.8.1 but this required some updated packages which was a bit too complex with our current Linux version (SUSE 9.2). We want to update to the newest version of openSUSE in the future and then when we also want to update to the newest SystemInstaller version. By now it would be very great if the new client could be installed with SystemInstaller 3.4.0.
