Hello, I'm a new user to SystemImager. I found this product attached to the
Linux Enterprise Cluster book by No Starch Press. I'm having some trouble
creating a Golden Client.
I've created a Master Server (MS) using Fedora Core 4 and a Golden Client (GC)
using same. I'm able to use 'getimage' to copy the GC to the MS with no
problem. I've made a boot floppy with the static network information for three
nodes. But when I insert the floppy into the first node, the image won't load.
The network ping test checks fine, and I see what looks like normal boot
loader messages, but it eventually stops with the following error:
"Could not stat /dev/main/root - No such file or directory."
That's not a typo. I don't know what 'stat' means--either a command I don't
know or a typo in the script for 'start.'
Same thing happens on the other two nodes I want to install. I've googled your
site and the web at large for this error and have come up with bupkus. Any
ideas?
