Hello
I've been having problems getting my SI client to boot after being
autoinstall via PXE and dhcp.
I'll listed the software I have installed on the server and client along
with the errors I get right after the completion of the
autoinstall procedure.
SI Client Software list:
RedHat EL3
systemimager-client-4.1.4-1
systemimager-common-4.1.4-1
systemimager-i386initrd_template-4.1.4-1
systemconfigurator-2.2.12.svn716arighi-1 < newl installed
systemconfigurator -- same issue
SI commands ran of client
# /usr/sbin/si_prepareclient --server servername --modules-dir
/lib/modules/2.6.6-RedHawk-2.2-custom --kernel
/var/vmlinux-2.6.6-RedHawk-2.2 --config /tmp/local.cfg
SI Server Software list:
Redhat EL3
systemimager-server-4.1.4-1
systemimager-commom-4.1.4.-1
systemimager--386boot-standard-4.1.4-1
systemimager-i386initrd_template-4.1.4-1

# /usr/sbin/si_addclients --domain domainname
# /usr/sbin/si_si_mkautoinstallscript --image imagename --update-script
--force --listing --autodetect --ip-assignment REPLICANT
I reboot the client with a new disk drive installed, I enable PXE and
dhcp, the client starts making file system etc. it start copying file
from the server to the client
All go's great until the end where it give me the standard message about
autoinstall failed. Drop into busybox shell, I can see that the
everything was install properly and mounted on /a
# df -f
/dev/sda2 /
/dev/sda1 /boot
/dev/sda4 /home_local
Error Messages on client:
Warning label /boot
Couldn't find boot partition at /usr/lib/systemconfig/boot.pm

WARNING: Label / not found anywhere on system ! Ar
/usr/lib/systemconfig/boot/grub.pm 9line 344]
[Boot::label :: line 113 labels are: $VAR1={};
This error occurs for every file system with a label. I've look
everywhere on the web and found conflicting data and resolutions none
for which work for me.
