I have a system running with a 2.6.5-7.244 kernel.
Using SystemImager 4.0.2 I was able, without any problems, to copy the image to
my
systemimager server.
When I ran si_prepareclient --my-modules on the client to get the initrd.img
and kernel
files created.
I copied initrd.img and kernel, from /etc/systemimager/boot on the client, to
the server
under /tftpboot/boot/i386/standard.
After running si_updateclient --autoinstall and rebooting the client, the
client fails
with a FATAL: Kernel too old message.
I would have thought if I copied the kernel and initrd.img files that were
created on
the client with si_prepareclient, I could use those files to autoinstall the
client.
Or am I missing something??
