I solved by modifying si_prepareclient:start_rsyncd() function like this
# Start up the new one.
SystemImager::UseYourOwnKernel::run_cmd("rsync --daemon
--port=$RSYNC_PORT --config=$rsyncd_conf_file &", 0, 0);
I've just added the "&" to put in the background this command.
