WebDAV remote copies

Quick question on a problem driving me nuts: is there any support 
within Slide for remote WebDAV copies? I mean copies whose Destination: 
is a remote server and path. It seems Slide happily strips any 
host-related information and performs a local copy instead. This means 
that, given this request on host foo:

COPY /some/resource HTTP/1.1
Destination: http://bar/some/resource
Overwrite: T
destination becomes just /some/resource (actually 
http://foo/some/resource).

Is that a missing feature, a bug, a grey area in the specs or am I just 
missing something? If it's a missing feature, is there anything I 
should be aware of before giving a try and implement it?
