Kavin,

To build SmartBody on the Mac, you would build using the command line compiler
using the Terminal program. The process is to create a 'build' directory, use
cmake to create the makefiles, then build SmartBody:

cd smartbody/trunk
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make install

The executable will be:

smartbody/trunk/core/smartbody/sbm/bin/sbm-fltk

Please let me know what problems you run into.

Regards,

Ari Shapiro

Subject: [SmartBody-dev] Issues with Installing SmartBody on Mac

Dear all,

I am trying to install SmartBody on my mac. I checked out trunk/ from the
SmartBody svn repository. I also installed the prerequisites for mac as
mentioned in the install.txt in the trunk repository.

But the difficulty arises in the point of trying to build and run vs2008.sln on
xCode. Is there any work around to have a mac compatible version of vs2008. I
have been reading about SmartBody for sometime now and am really interested to
have it up and running on my mac. Any help will be much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Kavin
