I was thinking I might have an OK transmitter and receiver for Gnut to
use, that I got with a used helicopter many years ago (and I live in
Austin, so it's easy to get to him) but it's channel is 73 - 40.730
mHz, so it wouldn't be OK for an airplane in Germany. (But might be
good for a car or boat or something.)

It's a Futaba FP-T5NH Challenger. made for a helicopter -- it's got
some Japanese letters on it, so I'm guessing it's from Japan. I've
also got a receiver that goes along with it, and I *believe* it's
comparable to the standard R127DF. (Sure, it's a helicopter radio,
but it would work fine on a glider too.)

Somebody have a use for this? Perhaps somebody in Japan or Germany?
If you do, it's yours for shipping. It seems to work, though the
batteries are probably long since dead.

(Alas, it doesn't have a buddy box connector, so you can't use it for
that.)
