I tried to compile soci on aix today at work on AIX 5.3, the only missing
piece is that while on linux pthread libs are included in glibc, on AIX one
must add -lpthread explicitly.
I started working on a patch but I was caught up with other things. Time
permitting I'll submit it next week.
The main obstacle is that this must be added on all targets. I started
adding the dependency on all targets that I found but I suspect there's a
better way...
