 Cecil,

  the Intel SPL has been superceeded by the Intel Integrated
Perfomance Primitives (IPP), for which you can download an evaluation
version for Windows or for Linux. Intel was contacted by Bob McGwyier
of Flexradio, and thay said that hobbyists and radioamateurs can use
the evaluation version even after the expiry date, as long as it is
for personal use only. IPP is much more comprehensive than the old
SPL, having many more functions. I decided to stick to the SPL, which
covers my needs.
