Rob,

I was using the GPL version, but I did not have the <DiffAlgorithmClass>
entries in the conf.xml files.

Adding them resolved the problem.

Suggestion: having them present in the default installation might be a good
idea.

Thank you once again for your swift and excellent support, and for this
great product.

Regards,

James

Hi, James.

Are you using the GPL or the GLPL release of SJ? This sounds like a
limitation of the GLPL release. The GPL has a better diff engine (that's
only available as GPL, thus the two licenses). If you're using the GPL
release, check your conf.xml file (both client and server) and see what diff
algorithm you're using.

Basically, you should have the following line in there:

  <DiffAlgorithmClass>JLibDiff.GnuDiffAlgorithm</DiffAlgorithmClass>

If you're using the GLPL release, then download the GPL release and check
the DiffAlgorithmClass as well. Give it a try and let me know.
