Folks,

I currently have a Satellite patching report that I cobbled together in
Python. It gives me a breakdown of the outstanding Security Errata for
each client. Downside to this is that it only tells me how many errata
are *currently* outstanding. We clone the official RHEL channels into:

Official -> Dev -> Test -> UAT -> Staging -> Production

All Errata are cloned into Dev on a weekly basis, but then the report
can't tell me how this will affect my production machines until I've
cloned the Errata through to the Production channels. Slightly
uncomfortable doing it like this as we shouldn't clone to the next
environment until sign-off in the current environment.

Reason I ask is that the patching policy has a tight deadline for
applying Critical Security Errata and a looser deadline for all other
Errata.

Is there a way I can list all outstanding errata for a client regardless
of whether they have been cloned into the channel for that client yet?

Thanks

Duncan
