Hi Gilles,

I was read you spoke about, but it's happend with older kernel series
(2.4 I suppose)
Anyway I'haven't any strange messages in /var/log/messages about usb
disconnection.

Here's my usb log: (I have usb-debug enable)

Jun 25 20:07:21 server kernel: usb 4-1: Product: Speed Touch 330
Jun 25 20:07:21 server kernel: usb 4-1: Manufacturer: ALCATEL
Jun 25 20:07:21 server kernel: usb 4-1: SerialNumber: 0090D086BB0E
Jun 25 20:07:21 server kernel: usb 4-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
Jun 25 20:07:21 server kernel: usb 4-2: new low speed USB device using
uhci_hcd and address 3

...

Jun 25 20:07:21 server kernel: usb 4-1: reset full speed USB device
using uhci_hcd and address 2
Jun 25 20:07:21 server kernel: usbcore: registered new interface driver speedtch

Seems to be normal messages.

Many thanks.

Ciao,
Fabrizio
