[speedtouch] Imposible instalar el speedtouch // Imposible to install speedtouch

Hola, estoy intentando instalar el speedtouch en Ubuntu 8 y me está siendo
imposible. Os envío la parte del syslog donde se ve cuando intenta cargar el
firmware y falla.
Tengo el speedtouch plateado, pero al instalarlo por primera vez me
equivoqué y puse el firmware del otro. Volví a hacer los pasos (
http://linux-usb.sourceforge.net/SpeedTouch/ubuntu/index-es.html) con el
firmware ZZZL_3.012, pero no sé si se sobreescribe bien o que directamente
no coge ni uno ni otro firmware. Con ambos me sale el mismo error. Les
agradecería la ayuda o si debo poner un nuevo firmware o cuáles son los
pasos a seguir para desinstalar lo ya hecho y volver a rehacer todo
empezando bien con el ZZZL_3.012 en caso de que no se haya sobreescrito
bien.

Hello, i'm trying to install speedtouch in Ubuntu 8 and it's going to be

when the system tries to load the firmware and goes wrong.
I have the silver speedtouch, but when I installed for the first time I
missed and I tried the firmware of the other type of modem. Then, I did all
the steps again with the other firmware ( ZZZL_3.012), but I don't know if
it is being overwritted well o directly my system can not load any firmware
of this modem. Both print the same error. I will thank you a lot your help.
Have I got to load a new (another) firmware or what steps I have to follow
for uninstall what I have done and then, redo loading ZZZL_3.012 in the case
that it hasn't been overwritted well.
