--enable-smartcard=no does NOT seem to work - ANY IDEAS on how to bypass libcacards??? checking for SMARTCARD... no configure: error: Package requirements (libcacard >= 0.1.2) were not met: No package 'libcacard' found Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively, you may set the environment variables SMARTCARD_CFLAGS and SMARTCARD_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details.
