It is basically impossible that a 10k or 15k rpm SCSI disk is genuinely substantially slower for writes than a 7200 rpm IDE disk. Most likely, the SCSI disks had write-through cache turned off, and the IDE disks had it turned on. -- Andrew Piskorski <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.piskorski.com/
