Hi Rodrigo,
You claimed that the browser will not prompt for authentication, just out of
curiosity !!! what type of authentication you used? that is, cookie based
or something else.

My name is Rodrigo Rubira Branco and im a linux user in the latest 11
years...
I work with computer security (kernel hacking, polymorphic attacks and
embedded
systems).
Recently i have done a patch to squid to implement an way to authenticate
users
without use the browser prompt (using an web page). I plan to update this
patch to the latest version if squid developers want to introduce that in
the
official release.
I like to work fixing bugs and improving the resources/features (as i can
help
translatin that).
