Hi there,

I´m just back from my workshop, adding a boiler insulation to my loco.
I really hope that it will improve the steaming: Currently I have to
stop every 3..4 minutes to get steam preasure up again.

The insulation was done with very fine 1mm thick cork, covered by a
shell of 0,5mm brass. The boiler bands are stainless steel. The last
images shows everything back in place on the loco. I´l give it a try in
the afternoon.

Yours

                Gerd
