Subject: status of Boost with stdcxx

Do you have an update on the status of this effort? Has Boost fixed the issues that were preventing their libraries from being built on top of stdcxx?
Not all. Because they have locked the branch before the 1.34.0 release
(released at May, 14).

But they do plan to fix them for the next release, right?
I want to make sure there's no dispute about the issues you
filed and that they will eventually get addressed.

Have they incorporated the stdcxx .jam files you put together?
They removed boost build scripts version 1 in last release, and left
version 2 only.
So, we need to make the new scripts...

So the .jam files you put together don't work for the 1.34.0
release of Boost? If that's correct, let's rewrite them to
conform to version 2 so that people have an easy way of using
the latest Boost libraries with stdcxx. Once you're done we
should publish the scripts on our site for people to download
until we get Boost to accept and ship them in the next release
of their libraries.

Finally, are there any outstanding issues on our end that we need to address in order for stdcxx to be fully usable with the Boost libraries?
I'll try to build stdcxx with last release of the boost to see what
left to fix.

Okay. It would be good to keep track of all these issues in
some central location. How about creating a Jira task for
this whole project ("using Boost with stdcxx") and a subtask
for each problem you (and our users are likely to) run into?
