However his views are myopic, and sadly, utterly flawed. There is no innocent combatant party in any war. Least of all in civil war. The former Yugoslavia disintegrated in the last decade through at least, five main separatist civil wars involving: Slovenians against the Federal Army of the former Yugoslavia - on Slovenian soil; Croats against the Croatian Serbian population and later against the Bosnian Muslims - on Croatian and Bosnian soil respectively; Bosnian Serbs against Bosnian Muslims, interspersed with Bosnian Muslims fighting Bosnian Muslims (Fikret Abdic and co.) - on Bosnian soil; Bosnian Muslims against Bosnian Croats and Bosnian Serbs - on Bosnian soil; Kosovo Albanians against the Serbian State and Serbian people in the Serbian province of Kosovo. This tragedy was exasperated even further by the war, conducted in 1999 by the NATO members (Canada included) against the civilians and the sovereign country of Serbia. The jury is still out on the intent and consequences of NATO's war and history would doubtless make the adequate judgement In view of the above facts, Mr. Margolis' claim that only one party (the Serbs) in the multiple civil wars should be responsible for all the atrocities committed among at least four ethnic groups is, with all due respect - bordering on insane. Likewise, his diatribes about death-threatening letters from the Serbs would suggest that Mr. Margolis is a victim of his own bloated sense of importance, for he is really a rather small fish. However, apart from his well documented Serb hate-mongering, Mr. Margolis is now advancing his personal crusade, this time at the expense of the Ottawa Sun, by exposing his glaring intolerance of generally all Orthodox Christians. How else could one explain his preposterous suggestion, based on not a single piece of evidence, that even the clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church should be tried for war crimes. Or, his stern warning to the Macedonian government, to be gentle with (Kosovo and Macedonian) Albanian terrorists activities now wrecking havoc on the Christian population in a ruthless bid to brake Macedonia too. My advice to Mr. Margolis is: "Get a life, a lawyer and some professional counseling!". My advice to the Ottawa Sun is: "It is about high time Mr. Margolis is replaced with a real and credible political analyst. You owe it to your readership and your reputation."
