Hi Nigel, i have a running OpenSolaris 11 Machine.
Now i have tryed to add a SATA Controller with PortMultipler without success. i want to use a SiI3124 4 port SATA Card with 2 SiI3726 PortMultipler products: 1* http://www.span.com/product_info.php?products_id=22245 2* http://www.span.com/product_info.php?products_id=28468 If i enable the controller raid mode, it shows one disk - instead of 5 connected to the PMP. Do i need to Flash a non Raid BiosFirmware to the Controller ? Do i need some additional OpenSolaris11 Packages/drivers ?
