Christian, Something is certainly not defined. Try
defining all of these: dd.menu.restricted= dd.link.restricted= dd.menu.restore= If that doesn’t work for you, make
sure you have all the others defined (below). If you want to know what they do,
you have to dig into the source, and even then it can be hard to tell. #starts the top level of the menu dd.menu.top= dd.menu.bottom= dd.link.start= dd.link.end= dd.js.toggle.display= dd.js.start= dd.js.end= #area on the document that toggles the
display of the associated menu dd.menu.expander= #starts a menu item dd.menu.item.top dd.menu.item.bottom= dd.menu.item.row.start= dd.menu.item.row.end= dd.image= dd.image.src.expand= dd.image.src.expanded= dd.image.expander= dd.js.image.src.expand= dd.js.image.src.expanded= dd.menu.restricted= dd.link.restricted= dd.menu.restore= - Nathan From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Behalf Of Christian Martin hi!
i searched the archive and found following to "solve" my problem:
<< I dug into the source and answered my question. << You need define “dd.menu.restore” in the << AppDisplayStrings.properties. I’m still not sure what it’s suppose << to do. Does anyone know what these do?
i added "dd.menu.restore=" to AppDisplayerStrings but null still appears in all drop down menues
same problem appears at http://raibledesigns.com/struts-menu/menutest1.jsp
thanks in advance
