Yes - I'd second that. We'd been considering struts for a while and finally
made the decision to go with it for a new JV - mostly on the stength of
struts1.1 + tiles - which added absolutely the killer feature in terms of
maintainability and productivity to an already fantastic environment ...
coupled with netbeans release 3.4 with JSP+Servlet debugging and its other
great add-ons.

We used some of Chuck's slides from AJUG for an informal management briefing
in which we did credit Chuck's slides and research ... and we have placed
advance orders for the new book! The main management concern was the fact
that the whole environment is open source software but after the presented
facts and after viewing netbeans (why?) and (partly?) understanding the
technical arguments over why open source MVC and tiles-based development as
opposed to .NET proprieroryware and lack of solid design methodology support
.. the argument was quickly won. Never said thanks to Chuck - so Thanks,
Chuck.

Hue.

In addition, I put together this Struts presentation for
AJUG two months ago. There are several slides in here
geared towards convincing managers why you should use
Struts. Take a look at it and feel free to use it
however you need to.
