I am sure there are more than two ways... but those are the two I could
think of.

Subject: RE: passing request parameter to mapping.findForward(alias)

there are at least two ways....

static parameter?

<forward path="foo.jsp?foo=bar"/>

dynamic? (in execute method)

ActionForward forward = mapping.findForward("success");

return new ActionForward(forward.getPath() + "?foo=" + bar);

[check the java docs on the second one... i am doing it from memory, i've
done it before... it is the basic idea]
